Groucho Marxism, the theory of comedic revolution is much more than a blueprint for crass struggle: like a red light in a window, it illuminates humanity's inevitable destiny, the declasse society. G-Marxism is the theory of permanent felon revelry. (Down boy! There, that's a good dogma.)




The example of the Marx Brothers themselves shows the unity of Marxist theory and practice (for instance, when Groucho insults somebody while Harpo picks his pocket). Moreover, Marxism is dialectical (isn't Chico the classic dialect comedian?). Comedians who fail to synthesize theory and practice (to say nothing of those who fail to sin at all) are un-Marxist. Subsequent comedians, failing to grasp that separation is “the discrete charm of the bourgeoisie,” have lapsed into mere pratfalls on the one hand, and mere prattle on the other.




Because G-Marxism is practical, its acheivements can never be reduced to mere humor, entertainment, or even “art.” (The æsthetes, after all, are less interested in the appreciation of art than in art that appreciates.) After a genuine Marxist sees a Marx Brothers movie, he tells himself: “If you think that was funny, take a look at your life!”




Contempary G-Marxists must resolutely denounce the imitative, vulgar “Marxism” of the Three Stooges, Monty Python, and Bugs Bunny. Instead of vulgar Marxism, we must return to authentic Marxist vulgarity. Rectumification is likewise in order for those deluded comrades who think that “the correct line” is what the cop makes them walk when he pulls them over.




Class-conscious Marxists (that is, Marxists who are conscious that they have no class) must spurn the anemic, trendy, narcissistic “comedy” of comedic revisionists like Woody Allen and Jules Feiffer. Already the comedic revolution has superseded mere neurosis - it's ludic but not ludicrous, discriminating but not discriminatory, militant but not military, and adventurous but not adventurist. Marxists realise that today you have to look into a funhouse mirror to see the way you really are.
Although not entirely lacking in glimmers of Marxist insight, socialist (sur)realism must be distinguished from G-Marxism. It is true that Salvador Dali once gave Harpo a harp made out of barbed wire; however, there is no evidence that Harpo ever played it.




Above all, it is essential to renounce and revile all comedic sectarianism such as that of the equine Trots. As is well-known, Groucho repeatedly proposed sex but opposed sects. For Groucho, then, there was a difference between being a Trot and being hot to trot. Further, the Trot slogan “Wages for Horsework” smacks of reform, not revelry. Trot efforts to claim A Day at the Races and Horsefeathers for their tendency must be indignantly rejected; in truth National Velvet is more their style.

The burning issue confronting G-Marxists today is the party question, which - naive, reductionist “Marxists” to the contrary - is more than just “Whay wasn't I invited?” That never stopped Groucho! Marxists need their own disciplined vanguard party, since they're rarely welcome at anybody else's.




Guided by the Marxist leader-dogmas of misbehaviourism and hysterical materialism, inevitably the masses will embrace, not only G-Marxism, but also each other.

GERRY ADAMS WRONG ATTACKING 10,000 HUMAN RIGHTERS & MARTIN COREY

Some Provisional Sinn Fein supporters are currently very angry with Gerry Adams latest outburst, attacking more than 10,000 human rights demonstrators, who marched against internment at the weekend in Belfast and who were also commemorating, more than 42 years of internment without trial, as human rights activists have done annually, for almost a hundred years in Ireland.

People are now calling Gerry Adams' party, British Sinn Fein, because of the extent of  their collaboration with the British, particularly with regard to internment without trial, censorship and prevention of free political expression. Some say, British Sinn Fein are now more British, than the British themselves. The following statement of a Sinn Feiner from County Limerick, is an example of the growing dissatisfaction within Adams's party ranks, when he said of the anti internment protest, "Well done on your dignified march at the weekend to highlight an important issue. I've always been a SF supporter but your analysis of Gerry Adams is spot on. Their rhethoric these days is the same as that of The Workers Party about 30 years ago."


The political negativity or doom and gloom of Provisional Sinn Fein, is in marked contrast, to the very positive vibe around the Anti-Internment March at the weekend. While Provisional propaganda called it the 'Dissident March in the Irish News, with a frontal assault, attacking Republican Unity, the Organizing Committee, Stewards and Participants, despite extreme provocation also from Loyalist extremists, remained united and disciplined.



While it was disappointing  for traditional Irish republicans, to see Adams' party align themselves divisively, with the sectarian fascist thugs of the orange order, who attempted to prevent the march going through Belfast, it is also not helpful to republican unity, for any band, despite the extreme provocation, to be playing "Take it Down from the Mast" entertaining, drunken alcoholics in any felons club, who were afraid to march themselves. It is unhelpful whatever the level of collaboration. 

This is history repeating itself, as during the hunger strikes, when the stickies started fighting among themselves, as the principles of the hunger strikers started to shine through. Unfortunately good people were badly misled and betrayed, some paying the ultimate price, as both officials and provisionals consigned themselves to the dustbin of history. 

This Rally was the Phoenix rising, from the ashes of both, once proud traditions, once again. Unity must be the watchword and lesson from that experience, with the Irish people of no property,  being the only guarantors to be trusted, after the experience of so many betrayals, from native gombeen men, political careerist carpetbaggers, morphing into active alcoholic felons, riding on the backs of other Irish men and women's wounds.

Both Adams and the Loyalist thugs failed miserably on the 9th of August 2013, while demonstrating how prejudiced and bigoted their hatred for human rights' activists, socialists and genuine traditional Irish republicanism really is. The 10,000 strong marchers, succeeded not alone in commemorating the anniversary of internment with respect but also highlighted the continued injustices in British Occupied Ireland today. Praise goes to the steadfastness of the marchers, along with the continued humanity and loyalty of everyone involved in the anti Internment events, which is in marked contrast to highly paid collaborators of ongoing internment 42 years later.



During the Hunger strike rallies, Adams and his felons, regularly rallied around West Belfast, shouting that Gerry Fitt is a Brit, before he was burned out of his home. Seamus Lynch of the Belfast stickies gave Adams a lot of stick about it at the time. Adams and British Sinn Fein, are walking the well worn path of the Fitts and Lynchs, who stood all idly by as their Irish brothers and sisters bled. They are again walking into the same political oblivion collaborating in the internment of old republicans like Martin Corey, who has served 23 years for the Irish Cause. British Sinn Fein are in effect administering internment and damning internees with feint protest.

After the deaths of the 10 hunger strikers, Adams and his Chameleon republican careerists, replaced the SDLP, who boycotted Stormont on political principle unlike Adam's party. They also stole their middle class agenda and middle class British salaries. Now their Gaelic Chameleon Lord Mayor, from their Gaelic Chameleon  party or was that Official Sinn Fein? wants to be addressed as Lord Millar of Belfast, while professing republican principles more akin to the entreprenuerial spirit of the Republican Bush Family of Texas. Nevertheless it is important for Ireland's sake, not to resent British Sinn Feiners as individuals, but instead what Brit Feiners, are doing to the traditional Noble Spirit of Republicanism and Ireland, like their collaborating opportunists in Fianna Fail and the blue shirts before them.

Eamon de Valera, covertly co-operated with Britain to crush the IRA. Papers reveal that De Valera and entire cabinet in the late 1930s, former IRA members, asked London to help smear the IRA's Chief of staff as a communist agent. De Valera's government executed more IRA members than Britain and borrowed Albert Pierrepoint, to hang one of them.During the war, more than 1,500 were interned, while several died on hunger strike in Irish jails. Gerry Adams hasn't hung anyone yet with his own hands that we are aware of but he has hung Martin Corey out to dry with more than 3 years interned, who alreadygave almost 20 years of his life, as a Provisional IRA volunteer imprisoned in Long Kesh. There are many more currently interned by remand in Maghaberry, while British Sinn Fein share power administering it in Stormont.


Unlike the SDLP,. British Sinn Fein will not do a principled boycott of Stormont like their predecessors the SDLP, a) Because they are too fond of the Queen's shilling, B)Because they are the political sock puppets of MI5, politically blackmailed. When British SS MI5 say jump, British Sinn Fein say how high! George Orwell described their mentality as follows: “Now I will tell you the answer to my question. It is this. The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from the oligarchies of the past in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just around the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know what no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me.” 

Now I have been warned, by someone, who professes to have strong connections with the British and American intelligence community, that I will be whacked, I.e. murdered, for campaigning against internment or divulging anymore Provisional Sinn Fein not so secrets activity, as a former Chairperson of Newry Sinn Fein before they went totally British. There is nothing personal in any of this towards any member of British Sinn Fein and I wish all of them well in their private lives outside politics. I would however strongly advise Gerry Adams and ask his fellow travelers, including his alcoholic felons, that for once, just once, to put their communities and dysfunctional Ireland first, before they go on their merry way into the dustbin of Irish history, like Gerry Fitt and the Stickies. 

They need to sit down and work out a common strategy, with all the groups involved in the Anti Internment Rally at the weekend and work towards republican unity, instead of undermining it. That is if they can convince them, at this late stage with something positive like ending internment once and for all in Ireland. and building a lasting peace with justice for everyone, including the loyalists. Can we for once stick together and put Ireland's interests first, like our Republican martyrs of yesteryear. None of us are an island and none but a fool or child, can see the ultimate self destruction of selfishness and self-centredness, we must rebuild community Ireland.

GERRY ADAMS ENABLES BRITISH SCUM STATES OF WHITE NIGGER

Gerry Adams made a lovely speech to the McGill Summer School in Donegal yesterday. I don't know who the speech wordsmith was but let's give credit where credit is due, t'was a lovely speech surely, and this is what he said:

“Almost 100 years ago partition created two conservative states ruled in their narrow self-interests by two conservative elites. The northern state was a one party state which reinforced the institutionalised use of discrimination, sectarianism and segregation.

Partition also affects this part of the island.This state is the product of the counter-revolution that followed the Rising and of a dreadful civil war which tore out the heart at that time of what remained of the generosity of our national spirit.

As the idealism of the aborted revolution waned a native conservative elite replaced the old English elite with little real change in the organisation of Irish society and no real movement towards a rights based dispensation.

Religion was hijacked by mean men who used the gospel not to empower but to control, and narrow moral codes were enforced to subvert the instinctive generosity of our people.Women were discriminated against; gay and lesbian citizens were denied equality under the law and all the while scandals like the abuse in the industrial schools, the Magdalene laundries, Bethany Home and the barbaric practice of symphysiotomy were tolerated and encouraged.

Those who suffered were mostly poor.The arts were censored. Our language undermined. Our culture corroded. Millions fled to England, the USA and Australia.A lesser people would not have survived.Moreover the institutions of this state, whether media, academia as well as the political elites are very partitionist.

They have their backs to the border.While they are generally benign, policy makers knew little about the north and cared even less.Their concern is to protect the interests of the establishment as they understand it.This will only be changed when a genuine national spirit is recreated to replace the nonsense popular in some circles that this state is the nation and that Ireland stops at Dundalk or Lifford."

We are living in a post Good Friday Agreement Ireland.This is most obvious in the north.But nowhere are the equality safeguards or parity of esteem measures of the Good Friday Agreement reflected in this state, in its governance or the protections for citizens."

Now words are however one thing, but Gerry himself has been in public life as an elected representative for quite a number of years and the last time I checked with his constituents, they have more than a few issues with our fella Gerry, particularly the truth tellers. Now truth tellers like children are a particularly vulnerable section of any society and like Gerry's speech stated, public representatives have major responsibilities in this area.

Gerry's speech by omission does not however mention some primary truths in this area and the reason he gets away with it i,s that Gerry and his entourage of middle class housewives would prefer be distracted by the relatively obscure practice of 'symphysiotomy' than talk about systemic child rape in both parts of Ireland. Lovely fancy word that, 'symphysiotomy' which like the distracting, pseudo-feminist, yuppie liberal word 'misogyny' is meant to sound clever and distract us from far more pressing class priorities at hand. Of course there are huge issues with regard to the way women in Ireland were and are treated but lets get back to Irish children for a moment.

The most glaring example of the dysfunctional nature of both the Protestant and Catholic states in Ireland, is systemic child abuse, or more accurately child rape. God fearing Ulster Protestants and Papist Roman Catholics were, and still are, up to their necks in the systemic practice of it, with women and Protestants just as guilty as Catholic men, particularly as enablers. What is even more odious, is the practice of professional enablers, particularly those public officials, charged with the protection of the young. Now I am going to be kind to Gerry and his elected British Sinn Fein officials and not elaborate further at this point in time, if they are seen to be socially responsible and make an effort and clean up their act.

Now ,in the matter of truth tellers, particularly those of political conscience, who were volunteers in Gerry's 'political party' and those who served considerable time in British prisons, for the "Irish Cause' and disagreed with Gerry's politics, these are and always have been, a particularly vulnerable section of society, in the scum sectarian state of British Occupied Ireland.

Take Martin Corey for example. When Martin, a former Provisional colleague of Gerry's in 1973, took part in a Provisional IRA ambush, to voluntarily defend his community from British Government paramilitaries, who were wearing the uniforms of both the British army and the since disbanded disgraced police force, conducted house to house sectarian murders's in Martin Corey's neighbourhood, known as the murder triangle, he was entitled to expect a little solidarity. from elected colleagues on his release from prison.. Martin served close to twenty years in Long Kesh Concentration Camp, suffering brutal, regular beatings, batterings and torture at the hands, boots and batons of sectarian prison guard thugs


So coming up to the time when Martin Corey was released without signing any documentation in 1993, (i.e. officially without conditions), he had every reason to be optimistic, especially with many of his 'political colleagues' or children of 'political colleagues murdered' on the outside now elected politicians. When he received a bank loan for a mechanical digger, so he could serve as grave digger, he settled down with is partner to a well earned, quiet life of long overdue matrimonial bliss, catching up on the 20 brutal years he lost to British repression.

Martin now believed himself a freeman, especially with all the peace dividends, Gerry Adams and his Peace Process promised. Martin also knew that with his neighbour, Rosemary Nelson around, he had an internationally renowned lawyer, who had the profile and professionalism to protect him, from any vindictive retribution from the British military, who resented intensely, this Irish human rights lawyer with a passion.

Martin also knew, there was the precedent of the British being found guilty of torture of 14 of his colleagues in Long Kesh by the European Court of Human rights in Strasburg beside the Nuremburg, court of the Nazi infamous war crime trials. Martin also had reason to be confident in 1989 that he had a lawyer in his community, called Pat Finucane an expert in European Law, who had an international reputation of being a human rights lawyer, who was a constant thorn in the side of British injustice. Martin also had another famous neighbour, a journalist called Martin O'Hagan who highlighted cases of British injustice in the media.

However in 1989 when Human Rights lawyer Pat Finucane was murdered in his home on the orders of the British Prime Minister Margret Thatcher and again around about the mid '90's, Martin started to get a little nervous, when elected colleagues, like Gerry Adams, started to disown Martin, the IRA and the armed struggle. In fact some elected colleagues, despite mountains of evidence, claimed they never belonged. The British Government started 'to sanitize' the IRA, to make the Peace process palpable to the sectarian state, with many executions and murders of other comrades of Gerry Adams who appeared to have been 'set up'.

Meantime after release, Martin despite considerable pressure, held on to his political beliefs in a United Ireland, while his party Sinn Fein, moved to a position of just civil rights instead, which was policy of the previously popular SDLP a non republican party. When the split came between the new British Sinn Fein and traditional Irish Republican Sinn Fein, Martin loyally went with his longtime trusted  republican comrades like Ruairi O' Bradaigh, stalwarts of Irish republican tradition. Many of Martin's colleagues were battered  with cudgels, for not following Gerry Adams and British Sinn Fein.

So when his neighbour, the journalist Martin O'Hagan was also murdered, along with his two human rights lawyers by the British Government, Martin had good reason to be worried ,because he had not changed his beliefs, in that he still regarded himself as Irish, with a belief in a United Ireland, which he pursued in a perfectly legitimate political party, called Republican Sinn Fein. It must be stressed at this point that 63.old Martin Corey has never been involved in any militant political activity, since his release in 1993. The only political activity he engaged in, was white line, peaceful protests, on behalf of comrades left behind in Maghaberry torture, his loyalty, contrasting sharply with the highly paid collaborators, of the British, scum, sectarian, state.

Martin's sense of vulnerability, without any protection proved well founded. Martin was taken back into custody on April 16, 2010, on the order of a non elected British Viceroyal in Ireland, based on "closed material" of the notorious British SS MI5. However on July 9, Justice Treacy ruled that Martin Corey's human rights, had been breached and that he should be released immediately on unconditional bail. This was again overruled by Order from the unelected British Viceroyal. This is political internment without trial.

When Martin has asked what the charges were, he was told that the police officers “did not know', when brought to Gaol, the prison staff did not know either. In fact more than 3 years later, neither 63 year Old Martin or his lawyers, have any idea why he has been interned without trial or charge. Police have not, questioned or interrogated Martin. The only conclusion  that can be drawn, is that in Gerry Adams' enabled, scum, sectarian, British statelet, being Irish or contemplating Irish unity, is a most serious crime. Martin Corey is a political prisoner of conscience.All of this makes a mockery of Gerry Adam's British Sinn Fein enabled judicial system, when a British Viceroyal who is unelected by people in Occupied Ireland, can determine an Irish person's personal freedom. Martin Corey is politically interned by a British system of injustice that makes being Irish or beliefs therein  illegal, in their own land The conditions of Martin Corey's political internment are disgraceful. Mail has been kept from him indefinitely, Celtic spiritual, crafts that are a labour of his love, have been been smashed by vindictive British prison officers and he has been left in physical agony for weeks on end, while being denied proper medical treatment in a reasonable time.

When Martin Corey appealed his internment without trial on the basis he had not been charged with any crime or brought before a judge, Judge Treacy an expert on both British and European Law, said Martin Corey's human rights were breached and ordered Martin  Corey to be released immediately without any conditions on release.

Martin  returned to Maghaberry Prison to pack his few belongings, while  his family travelled from Lurgan to bring him home. While Martin waited in the prison reception area, he was told that the British Viceroyal had overruledJudge Treacy and had ordered Martin, to be returned to his prison cell.  The British waited until Judge Treacy boarded a plane to leave the country. With Judge Treacy out of the way, another stooge of British SS upheld the order and Martin was taken back to his cell. Martin’s lawyers then applied for permission to take his case before the Supreme Court in London, confident of winning but their optimism was short lived, with the appeal denied without any valid reason being given. 

The Good Friday Agreement, signed 1998 by Gerry Adams as part of a peace process, came with a promise of equality with justice for everyone but 15 years later, Martin Corey is but one of the better known examples of thousands of people, who consider themselves Irish, who are still suffering from a great injustice and hardship at the hands of a racist British Tory government. The fact is, that there really is no law of the land in the scum statelet of British Occupied Ireland, as the case of Martin Corey's clearly demonstrates under objective scrutiny. 

How then can the vast majority of Irish people, considered by the British establishment in private, as "white nigger,' as in communication demonstrated above, at their own Embassy in Dublin respect their laws. If the British authorities believe Martin Corey or any other Irish person is guilty of a crime, then they must charge him and bring him before a transparent public court of law, where he has the right to defend himself. It is time to end internment without trial, which has existed in every generation in Ireland, since the foundation of  both scum states, which clearly have failed as political entities. It is high time that Martin Corey was freed.and it is also well past the time for Gerry Adams and British Sinn Fein, to stop enabling the scum state of British Occupied Ireland and its child rape culture, along with SS political blackmail, both being crimes against humanity, as is enabling them!

GERRY ADAMS BRITISH SINN FEIN NO REPUBLICAN EVEN AT GEORGE BUSH STANDARD

When the leadership of Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness, accepted the British terms of  an unconditional surrender and handed over their people, arms and volunteers, without any undertakings of protection from their British enemy, they also unconditionally surrendered, republican principles, as defined in the Rights of Man, published in the articles below by Thomas Paine, and generally accepted by republicans worldwide, as the basic tenets of republicanism.

British Sinn Fein, along with their pPresident Gerry Adams, by being part of a British Administration in British Occupied Ireland, administering British Imperial Law, including the political internment of their own volunteers, are definitively not a republican party, even by the standards of the Bush family and the American Republican Party ! The Declaration of the Rights of Man preamble, describes the fundamental characteristics of these rights, which are qualified as being "natural, unalienable and sacred" and consisting of "simple and incontestable principles" on which citizens could base their demands. 

In the second article, "the natural and imprescriptible rights of man" are defined as "liberty, property, security and resistance to oppression". It called for the destruction of aristocratic privileges, proclaiming an end to exemption from tax, freedom and equal rights for all human beings and access to public office based on talent. The monarchy was restricted with all citizens having the right to take part in the legislative process. Freedom of speech and press were declared, and arbitrary arrest outlawed

The Declaration also asserts the principles of popular sovereignty, in contrast to the divine right of kings, that characterized the French monarchy, and social equality among citizens, "All the citizens, being equal in the eyes of the law, are equally admissible to all public dignities, places, and employments, according to their capacity and without distinction other than that of their virtues and of their talents," eliminating any special rights for nobility or clergy

.With the introduction of political internment without trial, almost 40 years ago, the principal Nationalist party, at that time, the SDLP, who are not even republican, withdrew in principle from Stormont, recognizing that political internment and democracy were incompatible. Clearly then if  Gerry Adams, Martin McGuinness and British Sinn Fein have any republican principles left or indeed any principles whatsoever,  they will withdraw immediately from Stormont and policing boards, refuse the Queens shilling, until at the minimum, this practice, once described by Winston Churchill as being, "in the highest degree odious." 

They will also cease to fraudulently sell the repressive process, of their unconditional surrender to the British , as a peace process. Failing all of this, they will at the minimum, cease to describe themselves as a republican party and disassociate themselves immediately from the honourable name of all Irish republican martyrs. The might also actually encourage some of the their "thinking republican" members, along with Martin McGuinness, (even if someone has to read it for him), to actually read the principles, by which republicans worldwide are defined.

Gerry Adams, looks like he is on the road to ensure compliance with the agreements claiming political prisoners like Martin Corey without trial.
It doesn’t have to be so confusing or complicated. A human being that's arbitrarily imprisoned by those who see him as a political enemy and because of his actions should be released.
Martin Corey, is in a jail, for being a thinking individual, for his ideas. That's so archaic, and lead the Irish people, into the sad episodes like those imprisonments, for no apparent reason, but only to defend human rights.
These circumstances, were lasting for decades, they have to give a full turn, and go down to history.
Selfishness has led Britons to blood, being what they are and always been, not for noble reasons, as would be self-defense. It is a way they find to grow as a country. Surely there're other ways.
To what extent people that dominate by force to other people will also not damage themselves?, can it be in other way?. Can it be in other way??.
British and Irish Government, can find other paths to dialogue and tolerance, Especially if your decisions involve the cost of the innocent lives?. The cost of this are the innocent lives!!. Did you notice?.
If they can get along with their brothers, both subsist. Annihilation of people in prison for their ideas isn't necessary.
It's not necessary that a particular country and his administration, in order to stay afloat, believe that it is good to keep innocent prisoners captive. On the contrary, it would be better for government administrations, to understand, that freedom of expression give better positions to them, and everyone benefits.
If I could, I would like to say to the British Government, and the Irish Government, for me two amazing countries in the world, please, can you let resentments aside to give a way to understanding and peace agreements?
I pray to God to find the better solution for both. As a Christian, I think that To Christ, should the damage persist, it will be hard.
Today, in Ireland, and British Occupied Ireland, have a double standard, is not good for nations, because it is inappropriate for their citizens, and for any human being, is cruel, is vile not to procure freedom and a good rise between brothers and sisters.
Then learn from our Lord JESUS ​​CHRIST, who gave us the gospel wings to live, maybe the Government can give wings to Martin Corey, and so he can live with his family, as a man in freedom and in years.
I don't know if it is the right place to say this, but I have understood that Mr. Gerry Adams, is Jesuit, I wonder if he separates his faith, and put aside his beliefs, for agree with the powerful of the government, or, conversely, ignores all, in pursuit to realize the ideals of his faith, through his hands, on behalf of the principal divine commandment that Jesus left us to all mankind: "Love your neighbor as yourself".
When an innocent suffer, humanity suffers.
It's a hope for many people, that Gerry Adams can make the release of Martin Corey a reality, so, that could be an example of his faith in the Lord.

Bearing in mind the current brutal treatment of Irish political prisoners, in the wake of the Peace Process and hunger strikes, Gerry Adams' party's apparent detachment or covert involvement with due process, the critical question for the Irish Republican Movement today, must now surely be the following. Would a Sinn Fein Government led by Gerry Adams in the Free State, rely on special courts, military tribunals and draconian legislation like De Valera (Sinn Fein/ Fianna Fail) previously did, in attempts once again to crush Irish Republicans. and more worryingly a coalition with Fiann Fail deliver even greater repression than the current Zionist Blueshirt axis.


In 1936, De Valera’s Fianna Fáil government introduced special courts to imprison republicans and three years later, in August 1939, during the IRA’s English Campaign, it also established special military tribunals which were empowered to return only one the death sentence, from which there was no appeal. During the early 1940s, hundreds of republicans were interned by De Valera and sentenced to long periods of imprisonment by special courts. Six IRA Volunteers, Paddy McGrath, Thomas Harte, Richie Goss, George Plant, Maurice O’Neill and Charlie Kerins – were tried by military tribunals, found guilty and executed.

The same De Valera Government also allowed another three Republicans, Jack McNeela, Tony D'Arcy and Sean McCaughey die on Hunger-Strike. So the question now is; Would Gerry Adams bearing in mind his current record of collusion, interning innocent people like Martin Corey be another Eamon De Valera disaster? Are Provisional Sinn fein secretly enabling this odious activity with their President's private religious blessing?

An example of this duplicity, is that on 16 September 1953 De Valera met with Churchill for the first and only time, at 10 Downing Street. He surprised the UK Prime Minister by claiming that if he had been in office in 1948 Ireland would not have left the Commonwealt. While Churchill reprimanded De Valera as he would no doubt reprimand Adams today when he said, “The power of the Executive to cast a man into prison without formulating any charge known to the law and particularly to deny him the judgement of his peers is in the highest degree odious and is the foundation of all totalitarian government whether Nazi or Communist.”

At the general election of 1957, De Valera, then in his seventy-fifth year, won an absolute majority of nine seats, the greatest number he had ever secured. This was the beginning of another sixteen-year period in office for Fianna Fáil. A new economic policy emerged with the First Programme for Economic Expansion. In July 1957, again in response to the Border Campaign (IRA), Part II of the Offences Against the State Act was re-activated and he ordered the internment once again without trial of Irish republican suspects, an action which De Valers claimed, did much to end the IRA's campaign.


But it didn't did it ? Neither did internment in the early '70s with Adams himself interned along with Martin Corey. The central question currently with regard to the political prisoner of conscience Martin Corey Corey is whether Gerry Adams is going down the De Valera route or does he or his party, actually have anything progressive to offer the extremely dysfunctional island of Ireland? The omen are not good without any actual current activity other than a few prayers by Adams on the release of Marian Price. Like the banketer farce, words are simply not good enough at this stage, action is now required. Provisional Sinn Fein have been given the same mandate that the SDLP were given 40 years ago when they withdrew from Stormont and a nominally republican Irish party, has no business there while administering internment. There is no grey area with regard to this, they cannot run with the hare and hunt with the British hounds on this issue any longer. Hiding in prayer, while ignoring Martin Corey's reality is not good enough at this stage.

Gerry Adams was interned in March 1972 and released in June to take part in secret talks in London. An IRA delegation met with British Home Secretary, William Whitelaw in Chelsea. The delegation included Gerry Adams, Martin McGuinness, Sean Mac Stiofain, Daithi O'Conaill, Seamus Twomey, Ivor Bell and Dublin lawyer Myles Shevlin. The IRA insisted Gerry Adams be included and he was released from internment to participate.

He was re-arrested in July 1973 and interned at Long Kesh internment camp along with Martin Corey who served almost 20 years at that time. Martin Corey has, after serving almost 20 years as a political prisoner, since his unconditional release in 1992, been interned again over three years ago without any reason, charge or sentence given to him.

Gerry Adams after taking part in an IRA organised escape attempt, was sentenced to a period of further imprisonment. During this time, he wrote articles in the paper An Phoblacht under the pseudoynm "Brownie", where he often criticized strategy and policies of Ruairí Ó Brádaigh and Billy McKee. He was extremely critical of McKee who decided to assassinate members of the Official IRA from whom they split and were on ceasefire since 1972.

Many still believe that Gerry Adams denials of membership of the provisional IRA, are based on the fact that he was in fact always a member of the Official IRA only, never formally joining the Provisionals. After his release in 1976, he was again arrested in 1978 for alleged IRA membership, the charges were subsequently dismissed.

A long standing Irish Republican principle claims that the only legitimate Irish state, is the Irish Republic, declared in the Proclamation of the Republic of 1916, which they consider to be still in existence The legitimate government of Ireland was vested in the IRA Army Council, with the authority of that Republic in 1938 by the last remaining anti-Treaty deputies of the Second Dáil, while others see the death of O'Bradaigh as the last in that link.

Gerry Adams continued with this claim of republican political legitimacy, until his 2005 speech to the Ard Fheis, when he rejected it in his typical duplicitous manner, by saying : "But we refuse to criminalise those who break the law in pursuit of legitimate political objectives. .. Sinn Féin is accused of recognising the Army Council of the IRA as the legitimate government of this island. That is not the case. .... we do not believe that the Army Council is the government of Ireland. Such a government will only exist when all the people of this island elect it. Does Sinn Féin accept the institutions of this state as the legitimate institutions of this state? Of course we do."

Bearing all of this in mind and the politically sensitive issue of policing and justice in British Occupied Ireland, where the Provos surrendered their arms without, any supposed promised real power sharing in the devolved Assembly, makes their participation look hollow indeed, bearing in mind Mr Adams promises of power sharing to IRA members, as the basis for the Peace Process.

During the internment of Marian Price the nominal bi-party agreed, Justice Minister lied to an Assembly debate about her internment. All the powers of policing, internment without trial, MI5, lie with the English Viceroyal who is heavily compromised to the Secret Services or the Hidden British State. Meanwhile interned traditional Irish Republican Martin Corey still maintains he still has absolutely “no idea,” why he is being interned without trial more than three years.Speaking from a hellhole in Maghaberry gaol, the Lurgan man says he believes he has been interned strictly because of his political belief in a United Ireland. In other words 'an Irish prisoner of political conscience' in Gerry Adam's negotiated British Occupied Ireland????

Martin says “I have been interned for three years now and I still haven’t been given a reason. They have put forward a number of allegations against me, and for three years, I’m not able to defend myself against any of them.They say I have been seen speaking to known republicans, and that I visited a number of houses in Lurgan Tarry but almost every house in my Town is Irish republican. What does that matter? It doesn’t mean I’ve done anything wrong. They have absolutely nothing on me, and that’s why they haven’t charged me. When I went to court, I end up being ordered to be released by the Judge, but without a a shred of evidence against me the English Viceroyal again overruled the judge and interned me again.”

Martin Corey continued: “When I was arrested, I was taken to Lurgan police station. None of the police officers in the station knew why I had been arrested. I was then taken to Maghaberry. When I got here, even the prison officers were surprised to see me. One of them asked me, what I was doing here, and I replied, ‘You know as much as I do’. I was thrown into a cell and I have been here ever since.The fact that I’m in here and haven’t been given a reason, makes the whole thing even worse. If they have anything on me, they should charge me and send me to a proper trial. If not, I should be released.”

Martin a 63-year-old man, losing his power with age and the mental torture of indefinite internment, worked as a grave digger in the town for twelve years before he was interned, further stated: “When I was released from Long Kesh internment camp originally, after serving almost 20 years, I did not get involved in anything. I would have attended the odd white-line protest picket, things like that. But that is definitely the most I would have been involved with. I have held down a steady job for more than a decade, and even got a character reference from Monsignor Hamill. To accuse me of posing a threat is just ridiculous.”

Mr Corey has previously said: “A hunger strike is looking like a very real possibility. The agreement is not being implemented. Omniously he added: “There are plenty of volunteers for a hunger strike. That’s one thing there’s no shortage of.” The unelected English Viceroyal was
un-available for comment, a spot of fox hunting like her previous ancestral Viceroyal, perhaps?

Neither was Gerry Adams available, who has done nothing of substance, other than stating publicly, after the recent release of the interned Marian Price: “The logic of today’s release is that Martin Corey should also be freed.” However many Irish Republicans including his own supporters believe this is no longer good enough or acceptable, bearing in mind his position as President of his party, his undertakings of power sharing, when selling the Peace Process to IRA volunteers, the surrender of arms without direct input in matters like core policing, internment without trial, the reluctance to hold the 'Justice' ministry at the Assembly to account and his own history of non-accountability, on critical issues of public importance.

What is causing further scrutiny of Gerry Adams, in the instance of Martin Corey, is that not alone were they both comrades in defending their own community from ethnic cleansing and from the collusion of the British State, with sponsored British sectarian death squads, which included up to a hundred British soldiers and their own British paramilitary police. They were also comrades, when both were interned without trial, in what became known as Long Kesh Concentration Camp. They were tortured together in the British invented Concentration Camps which Hitler used with such infamy. Will the British succeed in dividing them, as they did previously with De Valera and Irish republicans?

Of course "intelligent Irish republicans" as Gerry's colleague Martin McGuinness often says, know that Gerry Adams has not put all his political cards on the table, with regard to this issue or indeed any of the issues mentioned above. However bearing in mind Martin Corey's 63 years and the current fragile state of the 'peace process' the last thing people need or want is another Hunger Strike by a Long Kesh, H-Block internee, bearing in mind the history of Bobby Sands and the total of the 10 hunger strikers, who already died by this last resort of non-violent protest.

Irish republican loyalty in the interest of unity, which has extended over so many years of giving Gerry Adams the benefit over considerable doubt, will hardly extend to letting a fellow volunteer and elderly internee die interned in a British hellhole. Statements as Gerry the pragmatist would himself know, at this stage are hardly enough. .As President of Ireland's largest political party and partner in a negotiated peace agreement and recent event around taking responsibility, he would now know that both his political and moral responsibility are to cease with the use of an elderly Irish internee being used as stick, to wave at the many Spartans, who survived Martins current ordeal, who have serious misgivings about the implementation of promises made. Martin has considerable support in his native Lurgan and indeed most of the British created, sectarian 'murder triangle.'

One of the last recording, made of the previous late President of 'Sinn Fein', who was criticized so much By Mr Adams, Ruairi O Bradaigh quoted, "The woods are lovely, dark, and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep." Ruairi kept his promises, Will Gerry Adams keep his promises to the people who have learned from bitter experience, is that they rely on people like Martin Corey to defend them and simply cannot trust British Paramilitary police or a disarmed IRA that let them down so badly last time. This is the harsh reality that many new political careerists ignore but which Gerry Adams dare not forget.

The apologists for sectarian Stormont and the political power sharing arrangements, propagating the illusion, that everything is normal, speak of a new ‘human rights’ regime, with new policing and justice standards. On the day of the recent release, of the interned Marian Price, the President of Provisional Sinn Fein, a principal partner in the power sharing British regime, Gerry Adams himself said, “The logic of today’s release is that Martin Corey should also be freed.”

Now Mr Adams, with all due respect to the part your party played, in the release of Marian Price, after three long years of internment without public charge, reason or time frame, in the instance of 63 year old Martin Corey, there comes a time to walk the talk, to take responsibility as in even the most pretentious democracy.

You sold the Peace Process on a power sharing basis to your movement. I and others like me were willing to give you the benefit of considerable doubt, for the sake of peace. Your Nationalist predecessor the non republican SDLP, walked out of the Stormont parliament, with the introduction of internment without trial 40 years ago, while you own peace loving comrades are still being jailed, while the British are consistently breaking the terms of the peace process.

Enough is enough. You do have the power, mandated to you originally, by the hard work, hardship and commitment of FORMER political activists, like Martin Corey. You are obliged by principles of the 'Irish Republican Movement' from which you originate and derive your power originally, to use that power to dismantle what even the English Tory Churchill referred to as: “The power of the Executive to cast a man into prison without formulating any charge known to the law and particularly to deny him the judgement of his peers is in the highest degree odious and is the foundation of all totalitarian government whether Nazi or Communist.”

Mr Adam's, strip away the spin and dross of the current Tory dismantled and discredited 'peace process', the reality of what remains, is the same discredited, sectarian, undemocratic, colonial scum state, with its speclal courts of repression, special laws of repression and a still colonial police force of the RUC/PSNI, to politically police the dictat of a Monarchial tin-pot dictator. Nothing has changed in terms of the repression of the British Crown towards the native Irish people of British Occupied Ireland ask Martin's neighbours.

With a heavy and reluctant heart, I have to report nothing has changed within the British Sectarian Stormont parliament, in the cozy relationship of Britain and it's well oiled middle class career politicians, despite the odd outburst of electioneering bluster, chasing the Queen's shilling, at the expense the of the people of no property, such as the politically interned Martin Corey.

You sold the Peace Process on a power sharing basis to your movement. I and others like me were willing to give you the benefit of considerable doubt, for the sake of peace. Your Nationalist predecessor the non republican SDLP, walked out of the Stormont parliament, with the introduction of internment without trial 40 years ago, while you own peace loving comrades are still being jailed, while the British are consistently breaking the terms of the peace process.


Enough is enough. You do have the power, mandated to you originally, by the hard work, hardship and commitment of FORMER political activists, like Martin Corey. You are obliged by principles of the 'Irish Republican Movement' from which you originate and derive your power originally, to use that power to dismantle what even the English Tory Churchill referred to as: “The power of the Executive to cast a man into prison without formulating any charge known to the law and particularly to deny him the judgement of his peers is in the highest degree odious and is the foundation of all totalitarian government whether Nazi or Communist.”


Mr Adam's, strip away the spin and dross of the current Tory dismantled and discredited 'peace process', the reality of what remains, is the same discredited, sectarian, undemocratic, colonial scum state, with its speclal courts of repression, special laws of repression and a still colonial police force of the RUC/PSNI, to politically police the dictat of a Monarchial tin-pot dictator. Nothing has changed in terms of the repression of the British Crown towards the native Irish people of British Occupied Ireland ask Martin's neighbours.


With a heavy and reluctant heart, I have to report nothing has changed within the British Sectarian Stormont parliament, in the cozy relationship of Britain and it's well oiled middle class career politicians, despite the odd outburst of electioneering bluster, chasing the Queen's shilling, at the expense the of the people of no property, such as the politically interned Martin Corey.


As a former chairperson of Newry Sinn Fein, I'm calling you out Comrade Adams. Be a man, take responsibility, instruct you party to exercise their political mandate, like the SDLP did all those years ago, and inform the Tories of your party's intention, to withdraw from the British parliament of Stormont, until their odious internment without trial, of ordinary Irish people is finished once and for all.
